Set in the heritage-listed Railway Goods Shed; the Discovery Science & Technology Centre offers a unique setting for your next corporate function, engagement party or birthday.

The building can be transformed for your special cocktail reception or formal sit-down dinner and Discovery's Auditorium is perfect for your next corporate function.

For a truly memorable event why not break the ice and include a science show or two within your schedule, or, let us take you on a guided journey around the solar system in the Bendigo Planetarium? For the more daring, we challenge you to plummet down the southern hemisphere's tallest vertical slide while you're here!

Discovery Auditorium Room Hire Details:

The Discovery team is eager to tailor a package (including catering) to suit your specific needs. Breakout spaces can also be created amongst our 100+ exhibits or within The Lab, but must be booked in advance.

Our basic package includes:

  • Use of the Discovery Auditorium
  • Standard audio visual equipment
  • Standard furniture and décor
  • Customer service staff to assist you throughout the day
  • Amenities available within the building
  • Use of the Discovery kitchen
